About this care
At IKC Cadans, we offer a unique approach to childcare, where we make no distinction between primary school, childcare, and after-school care (BSO). Our focus is on the needs and developmental opportunities of each child. We believe every child should have the chance to discover and develop their talents.
Our educational approach is aimed at stimulating cognitive skills, self-confidence, adaptability, and resilience. Children are guided by a mentor who supports them in their development. We offer an environment where children can feel free and where parents have the flexibility to decide when to go on holiday with their children.

Summary
KDV IKC Cadans Weesp is a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for 32 children aged 3–4 years, established in 2023. Since the start of a pedagogical coach in May 2024, quality improvement has been visible with fewer violations. During the annual inspection on 28 January 2026, one violation was identified: the indoor climate protocol was not implemented. Staff members were insufficiently familiar with the measures and lacked CO₂ meters and thermometers. Following a recovery offer, measures were taken: CO₂ meters were purchased, registration was introduced and technical ventilation was planned. The violation has been terminated. Furthermore, the location performs well in terms of pedagogy, staffing, accommodation and parent communication.
