Villa Grut is a small-scale, welcoming toddler school located inside Sint Joseph primary school at Den Gouden Hoeck 6 in Burgerbrug. Our bright, open space invites toddlers and kindergarteners to play together and learn from one another. We work in themes that connect to the children’s world of experience and give every child individual attention. Summary
The annual inspection by GGD Hollands Noorden of daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Villa Grut in Burgerbrug showed a largely positive picture, but identified a serious violation in the area of safety registration. The pedagogical quality and staff are satisfactory, but a teaching assistant who supervised children during outdoor play was not registered in the Childcare Persons Register (PRK) and not linked to the licence holder. Despite a recovery offer, this situation was not corrected in time during the draft phase. The licence holder has since taken action after the report was finalised and completed the linkage by 15 June 2026. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality of Schagen to proceed with enforcement.
