KDV De Buitenbengels Buitenpost

Welcome to KDV De Buitenbengels Buitenpost, a warm and homely daycare centre located on the ground floor of CBS De Lichtbron at Johan Frisostraat 2 in the heart of Buitenpost. We are part of De Buitenbengels Friesland B.V., an organisation that combines childcare with plenty of outdoor play and nature experience. Since 2 January 2025 we have been officially registered in the National Childcare Register and offer small-scale care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4. Personal attention is our top priority. We work with small groups so that every child has the space to be themselves and develop at their own pace. Our pedagogical staff create a safe, green and familiar environment where play, discovery and growth are central. We pay extra attention to being outdoors and movement; our garden and play areas offer plenty of opportunities to explore nature and be actively engaged. The daily routine is calm and predictable, exactly what young children need. We start the morning with free play, followed by a shared fruit moment. Afterwards children can choose from various activities or simply continue playing. Around half past twelve we eat bread together; bread, drinks and healthy snacks are included with us. Parents only need to bring nappies and any formula. After lunch there is room for an afternoon nap in our quiet bedrooms, each child has their own sleeping bag. The day ends with some more play, cuddles and reading aloud. We believe it is important that parents feel completely at ease.
