Summary

Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) De Paradijsvogel in Zaandam was inspected unannounced on 17 April 2025 by GGD Zaanstreek-Waterland. The annual review assessed the pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and accommodation. All assessed quality requirements were met; no violations were established. The location provides care for a maximum of 51 children in four core groups. The inspection found that the pedagogical policy is clearly developed and that staff guide children in an emotionally safe and developmentally oriented manner. The spaces are safe and richly furnished, with separate sleeping areas for babies and a spacious, green outdoor area. There were only minor points of attention that were resolved immediately, such as peeling paint on a cabinet. No recovery offer is needed and the municipality is advised not to take enforcement action.
