KC het Kasteel

Welcome to BSO Het Kasteel, part of Kwink childcare, located on the ground floor of De Burcht primary school at Margaretha Turnorlaan 5 in Veenendaal. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12, both before and after school hours. Because we are housed inside the school building itself, children experience our spaces as familiar and easy to navigate. Our location has 55 after-school places and is registered in the National Childcare Register under number 197878118. We work closely with De Burcht: teachers can easily coordinate with our pedagogical staff and vice versa. Together we form one child-centre where education and childcare flow seamlessly into each other. Outdoors we have a playfully designed, spacious garden with swings, a slide and a tunnel. Children climb, romp and play here to their heart’s content. Inside, among other things, a table-football game and building blocks are ready. We believe it is important that children choose what suits them: one child heads straight outside after school, another first seeks quiet time on the sofa with a book. Our pedagogical vision is fully aligned with Kwink’s: we give children the space to explore on their own, take initiative and colour outside the lines. We create a warm atmosphere with plenty of personal attention and build on what children can do themselves. We work with horizontal groups: children are with peers, providing calm and familiarity after a school day. During study days, school-free days and holidays we remain open.
