About this care
Welcome to BSO Het Koraal - Beemdgras, where we form an integral child center together with ICBS Het Koraal in the heart of Assendelft. Our after-school care is located at Beemdgras 5, on the same premises as the primary school, allowing children to transition directly to a familiar and safe environment after school.
As an after-school care facility, we provide care for up to 54 children aged 4 to 12 years. We work closely with the school to ensure a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Our pedagogical staff are ready to receive children after a busy school day and guide them in their further development.
Our location is part of the Integral Child Center (IKC) concept, where education and childcare seamlessly connect. This allows children to access both education and after-school care at one location, providing peace and continuity for both children and parents.

Summary
BSO Het Koraal – Beemdgras in Assendelft provides after-school care (BSO) to 54 children aged 4–7. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected the location on 17 June 2025. The pedagogical climate, staffing and safety all meet statutory requirements: there is a clear pedagogical policy, sufficient qualified staff with Certificates of Good Conduct (VOG), and a functioning domestic violence reporting protocol. However, no parent committee has yet been established, which is mandatory for locations with more than 50 places. The organisation has made repeated attempts to recruit parents and keeps them actively involved through other channels (newsletter, parent portal). No complaints were received in the past year.
