About this care
At TintelTuin Het Koraal-Kreekrijk, we offer specialised childcare and after-school care (BSO) for children from 0 to 12 years old. Our care is integrated with primary school Het Koraal, ensuring a seamless transition between education and childcare. As part of an Integraal Kind Centrum (IKC), we work together on children's development.
Our after-school care (BSO) is located within the school and makes use of facilities such as the play hall and the school playground. We offer a wide variety of activities, with no two days the same. From cooking in our kitchen to dancing in the movement room, we provide a challenging programme. We have various play corners, including an atelier, a media corner and a construction corner, and we also encourage children to explore the neighbourhood. Our childcare staff make the most of their talents by giving workshops in their specialism, such as cooking or dancing.
We follow a general pedagogical policy and are proud of our involved and loving approach to every child. We are open Monday to Friday until 6:30 p.m. and provide warm meals. Het Koraal – Kreekrijk is an after-school care facility (BSO) in Assendelft with 100 places for children aged 7-12, located in primary school Het Koraal. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected the location on 17 June 2025. The location meets the quality requirements for pedagogical climate, staff/groups and safety & health. There is a safe and stimulating climate, clear rules and respectful contact between staff and children. All staff are properly registered and hold a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG); the domestic violence reporting protocol and complaints procedure are in order. However, no parent committee has yet been established, which is mandatory for locations with more than 50 childcare places. The organisation has made active efforts to recruit parents through newsletters, intake meetings, flyers and events. No complaints have been received. The GGD does not see grounds for enforcement; the advice is to process the report through municipal policy without sanctions.
