At Kid@home, we believe personal attention for every child is essential. Our childminders (gastouders) provide small-scale care in a homely atmosphere, where children feel safe and at ease. As a parent, you get a dedicated childminder who really gets to know your child and has the space to give each child individual attention. We guide the entire process from matching through to care, and ensure regular evaluations to discuss your child's wellbeing. Our pedagogical coaches are on hand to answer questions and offer support.

Kid@home operates regionally in the area between Arnhem and Nijmegen. Our childminders are active in the municipality of Lingewaard (Angeren, Bemmel, Doornenburg, Gendt, Haalderen, Huissen) and in the surrounding areas of Arnhem, Elst (Gelderland), Oosterhout (Gelderland)/Nijmegen-Noord and Valburg. We know all our childminders personally and believe regional working is important for good contact and guidance.

Kid@home is a registered childminding agency listed in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang/LRK). We feel responsible for a proper execution of our duties that leads to the delivery of high-quality childcare. The municipality is responsible for quality supervision and engages the VGGM (Safety and Health Region Gelderland Midden) as supervisory body. An annual inspection visit takes place and an inspection report is drawn up following this. All childminders must also be registered in the LRK, and parents are only entitled to childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag) if both the agency and the childminders are registered in time.

We offer personal guidance through regional intermediaries who know your area well. You can use our childcare marketplace free of charge to search yourself or receive advice from our childcare advisors. We take care of all administration, payments and quality controls, so you can focus on the care of your child.

Childminder agency (gastouderbureau) 4Kids is active throughout the Netherlands with regional intermediaries in all provinces. We have intermediaries in regions such as 't Gooi, Rotterdam & Zeeland, Gelderland, Zwolle & Deventer, Achterhoek, Twente, Haaglanden, Zuid-Holland-Zuid & Utrecht, Friesland, Zuid-Holland Noord & Amsterdam, Midden Nederland & Flevoland, Brabant & Limburg, Salland, Enschede, Rotterdam Noord, Noord-Holland and Groningen/Drenthe.

Childminder agency (gastouderbureau) 4Kids works exclusively with childminders (gastouders) who are registered in the National Childcare Register and have been approved by the Municipal Health Service (GGD). Our intermediaries regularly visit the childcare locations to check whether all safety requirements are met. We carry out annual risk assessments and evaluate the childcare with parents and childminders. The agency has a pedagogical policy that all childminders work according to and offers pedagogical support through its own pedagogical staff. We receive annual inspection visits from the GGD.
