GOmatch helps parents find the right childminder (gastouder) for their child. We offer personal placement and guidance, taking your specific wishes and situation into account. Our childminders provide professional care in a homely setting, with a maximum of 6 children at a time for optimal personal attention. We take care of everything for you, including administrative handling, quality control and support with questions about parenting and finances.

Our bureau has an internal complaints procedure and is affiliated with the independent Childcare Disputes Committee. Parents can consult the inspection reports of GOmatch and all childminders via the National Childcare Register.

Our administration is based in Franeker, but we match childminders and parents throughout the entire province. Each region has a specialized placement coordinator who knows the childminders in that area well, enabling us to tailor placements to the wishes of both parents and childminders.

We want your child to be cared for safely. That is why every childminder is assessed by our placement coordinators and by the GGD (Municipal Health Service). This happens before starting, and continues to return annually. The childminders are familiar with applicable laws and protocols and know how to act safely in various situations.

Besides physical safety, social-emotional safety is equally important. Attention is given to this as well. Inspection reports of our childminder agency are publicly available via the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang).
