At Villa Kroost, we believe personal attention and a homely atmosphere are important. As a parent, you receive a dedicated contact person who guides you from the start of your childminder (gastouder) care arrangement. We work with fixed, low placement fees of €38.50 per month per family, so you never face any surprises. Our childminders are visited at least twice a year to monitor the quality of care, and we have contact with parents about the care at least once a year. We believe it is important that there is a good connection between parents and childminder, which is why we organise introductory meetings at your home.

Villa Kroost is active in the eastern part of Gelderland, particularly in the Achterhoek and Liemers regions. The agency has deliberately chosen to work with childminders in this area because the founders live there themselves and can therefore be close by and involved. Childminders mainly come from Gelderland, particularly from the Achterhoek/Doetinchem region. The service area includes both daycare for children aged 0-4 and after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4-12.

Villa Kroost is registered in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang) under number 210758855, which means childminder (gastouder) care through the agency qualifies for childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag). The agency is inspected annually by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) for compliance with the Childcare Act. All childminders must meet legal requirements such as an MBO-2 diploma in Helping (Care and) Welfare, a recognised First Aid for Children certificate, and a Certificate of Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag/VOG). The agency sets additional quality requirements for childminders.

We apply a fixed monthly fee of €29.50, regardless of the number of childcare hours or children, so you know exactly where you stand. After your choice, we handle the complete contractual processing and tax administration in accordance with the Childcare Act. Our childminders are carefully screened and work according to our pedagogical policy plan.

We have childminders (gastouders) registered in multiple provinces including Gelderland, Utrecht, North Holland, Brabant, Overijssel, Drenthe, Flevoland and Limburg. Parents can find childminders in their own region or place of residence through our online search portal.

Hét Gastouderbureau is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 225000520. We comply with all legal requirements and are affiliated with the Childcare Disputes Committee. Our childminders (gastouders) must submit a Certificate of Conduct and work according to our pedagogical policy plan. We publish the GGD inspection reports on our website annually and carry out risk assessments at all childminders.
