Summary
On 14 April 2026, GGD Hart voor Brabant conducted an unannounced incident investigation at childminder Abbasy Kahled in Oisterwijk, following a report about a child who had gone missing. On 25 March 2026, a 2-year-old child had unnoticed exited through the front door while the childminder was upstairs. The child was found by a neighbour. During the inspection, it appeared that the childminder had already taken measures: the front door is now secured with a high lock and a stair gate has been installed. The risk assessments from both childminder agencies (ViaViela and De Vlinder) were up to date. The childminder acted in accordance with the agreements from the risk assessment when dressing and putting the children to bed. The accident registration had been completed correctly. The investigation showed that the childminder meets the assessed quality requirements in the areas of safety and health.
