Welcome to BSO Delfshaven by KindeRdam, located at Pieter de Hoochstraat 52 in the heart of Rotterdam. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 in a safe and trusted environment where fun, development and friendship are central.
Our location is part of KindeRdam, an organization with over 40 locations in the region that has been providing high-quality childcare for more than 15 years. At BSO Delfshaven, we work with dedicated childcare professionals who bring out the best in children every day. We believe that children learn and discover who they are and what they can do through play.
Our spacious location offers plenty of opportunities for both quiet and active activities. Inside we have various corners set up where children can do crafts, play games or just relax with a book. Outside, children can let off steam on our safe playground or participate in sports activities.
We work closely with OBS Delfshaven and other schools in the area, allowing us to pick up children after school and provide them with a familiar place immediately. During school holidays we organize a special holiday program with fun trips and activities that match the children's world of experience.

Summary
BSO Delfshaven (KindeRdam Kinderopvang B.V.) provides after-school care (BSO) for a maximum of 20 children aged 4-13 years in one group. The inspection on 3 April 2025 concludes that the location largely meets the quality requirements: pedagogical policy and practice, staff qualifications, supervision, safety and health policy, reporting obligations, and premises are all in order. A permanent pedagogical coach is active and parents know who their child's mentor is. However, one violation was identified on the inspection day: due to sudden staff illness, eight children were transferred to another location after 5:00 p.m. without this having been arranged with parents in advance. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) considers this an incident and advises the municipality not to enforce. The organisation acknowledges the problem, has tightened internal procedures, and provided additional information to prevent recurrence. The report was finalised on 26 May 2025.
