The Municipal Health Service (GGD) Rotterdam-Rijnmond conducted a follow-up investigation at after-school care (BSO) De Grote Machinist in Rotterdam on 8 July 2026. This investigation followed an earlier inspection on 12 February 2026 during which violations were identified regarding Certificates of Conduct (VOG) and the Childcare Personnel Register. The follow-up investigation examined whether the provider, Kom kids Kinderopvang B.V., now complies with these quality requirements. The location offers after-school care (buitenschoolse opvang/BSO) to 65 children aged 4 to 13 and works with external specialist instructors for theatre, dance, and art activities. The previously identified violation concerned an external staff member who had started without registration in the Childcare Personnel Register.
