GGD Flevoland conducted an unannounced registration inspection on 30 June 2026 at BSO De Berenstad 'de Achtbaan' in Almere. The new location on Hoornstraat will replace the current BSO at Dordrechtplein. The after-school care (BSO) provides after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 and wishes to register 55 childcare places for holiday care with two base groups. The accommodation meets requirements with 203.25 m² of indoor space and an adjacent schoolyard as outdoor space. The pedagogical policy and safety and health policy were adjusted during the inspection as they did not fully align with the new situation. There was an outstanding enforcement advice from the previous location, most points of which have been resolved. The operator needs to take a more proactive approach to keeping policy up-to-date.
