BSO de Berenstad B.V. is located at Raaltepad 35 in Almere and provides after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our facility consists of several rooms where children can relax after school. We offer a variety of activities such as arts and crafts, playing games, reading, using computers, and chatting with friends. When the weather is nice, we make full use of our outdoor spaces. We have a playground in front of our building and a large soccer field behind it, and we never need to cross any roads.
We pick up children from various nearby primary schools. For pickups we use our BSO Bus and sometimes a car, so parents don't need to worry about extra transportation. Our childcare professionals are ready every day to give children a great time after their school day. We believe it's important that children feel at home with us and can do what they enjoy, whether that's playing outside or playing a game inside.

Summary
This Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection report concerns a follow-up investigation on 28 May 2026 at after-school care (BSO) de Berenstad B.V. in Almere, conducted by GGD Flevoland. This was a second follow-up investigation following identified shortcomings at the annual inspection in August 2025 and a first follow-up investigation in March 2026. The inspection assessed the domains of pedagogical climate, safety and health, and accommodation. All previously identified violations have now been sufficiently resolved, meaning all shortcomings from 2025 have been addressed. The GGD therefore advises against enforcement action.
