About this care

BSO Sport is part of Saffana’s Kindercentrum and is located at Ermelopad 5 in Almere. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. After a busy school day, children can play freely or take part in a fun and educational sports activity guided by a sports instructor. Our location is small-scale and has room for a maximum of 11 children, ensuring personal attention for each child. We are registered in the National Childcare Register under number 253444160.

Summary

BSO Sport in Almere, part of Saffana's Kinderopvang B.V., received an unannounced follow-up inspection on 21 May 2026 to investigate previously identified violations. The two shortcomings from the September 2025 annual inspection—not operating in accordance with the pedagogical policy and insufficient pedagogical practice—have been sufficiently remedied. The group atmosphere has noticeably improved through team consultation, coaching, and concrete agreements. One new shortcoming was identified: a neighborhood sports coach was not registered in a timely manner in the Childcare Personnel Register (Personenregister Kinderopvang/PRK). This registration has since been completed (23 June 2026) and the working method has been adjusted. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises against enforcement, as this concerns an isolated incident without risk to children.
