About this care
SKSG Vlindertuin offers after-school care (BSO) in the Oostindie district of Leek. We provide before-school care from 07:30 to 08:30 and after-school care until 18:00, with extended care available until 19:00. We collect children from OBS De Hasselbraam, CBS Van Panhuys, De Flint in Nietap, Veenpluis in Zevenhuizen, Tweesprong in Leek and De Springplank in Leek and bring them to our location at de Knip 1A.
Nature and outdoor play are at the heart of our programme. We are ‘Groen Gescoord’ and organise daily activities in our garden and on trips in the surrounding area. Children can climb and scramble in our gym, cook and bake in the professional kitchen and get creative in the art corner. Our themes connect with the children’s world of experience, while still leaving room for their own ideas. Our qualified staff guide every child with dedication so that each one feels safe and at home.

Strengths
- The pedagogical policy is adequate and is being implemented accordingly
- All staff members, interns, and regular visitors hold valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) declarations and are registered in the childcare personnel register
- Each child is assigned a mentor as the primary contact point for parents
Shortcomings
- Administrative records regarding consent for care in a second base group must be fully complete
- Ensure sufficient qualified first aiders are present during all care hours, including VSO

- Care in one base group: prior written parental consent was missing for two children regarding care in a different base group (Wednesday, Friday, and holiday days)
- First aid: during VSO on 1, 2, 5, 8, 9, 12 and 16 June 2026 between 7:00 and 7:30, no adult qualified in providing first aid to children was present
