Our locations in Groningen and Leek are small-scale and have ample parking, making drop-off and pick-up easy.
At Kinderopvang Omy, we believe it's important that children feel at home. Our staff are caring and create a warm, safe atmosphere. We work with small groups so that every child receives the attention they deserve. Our locations are designed so that children can move freely and learn through play.
We offer both daycare and after-school care (BSO). Our daycare is suitable for children from 0 to 4 years old, while our after-school care (BSO) is for children from 4 to 12 years old. Summary
The annual inspection of 13 July 2026 of after-school care (BSO) Kinderopvang Om y in Leek shows predominantly positive results. The small-scale combined childcare facility (ages 0-12, maximum 16 children) meets the quality requirements regarding pedagogical climate, safety and health, premises and parent rights. A pleasant, responsive atmosphere was observed in which staff interacted with children in an engaged and sensitive manner. However, the Municipal Health Service (GGD) identified a violation: the holder deployed two work-study (BBL) trainees in a formative capacity without written documentation of formative deployability and without a supervision plan. Following a recovery offer, the trainees were immediately scheduled as surplus staff and the holder has drawn up an action plan with structural coaching. The violation has been resolved. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement.
