About this care
At ISTIA Kinderopvang, we make every day something special, yet familiar and comforting at the same time. We believe in the power of small gestures—a kind word, a hug, or a cheerful joke that suddenly makes a child feel a little brighter. It can also be something bigger, like an exciting plan that gets the whole group enthusiastic! We love going outside, coming up with thrilling games, moving our bodies, or listening to a beautiful story. When a child isn't feeling quite themselves, there's room for some extra attention. Through this way of working, children can simply be themselves, play, learn, and have fun.
ISTIA Kinderopvang was founded in response to parents' need for childcare within the Steiner Waldorf school community. Since the introduction of the Childcare Act in 2004, we have implemented quality requirements in our own way, based on anthroposophical principles. We offer a warm and safe environment where children can develop optimally. Our locations are spread throughout the Netherlands, making us a trusted choice for many parents.
We work closely with Steiner Waldorf schools and are housed at several of these school locations. This ensures a seamless transition from childcare to education. Our staff are experienced and dedicated, always ready to give your child the attention and care they need. At ISTIA, your child's wellbeing and development come first, in an environment that is both familiar and stimulating.Read more
