About this care
BSO Bubbels is a warm and loving after-school care facility located at Anjelierstraat 9 in Weert. As part of Stichting Humankind, we provide a safe, small-scale and secure second home for children after school hours. Our location accommodates up to 98 children and is open Monday through Friday from 07:30 to 18:30.
We collaborate within IKC 3Hoven, allowing us to align well with school schedules and activities. At BSO Bubbels, the child is central and we strive to ensure every child feels at home in our care. Our pedagogical staff provide personal attention and guide children in their development through fun and educational activities.
Our location has been registered in the National Childcare Register since March 3, 2011 under number 137782366. We believe it's important that children can unwind after a busy school day while also discovering and learning new things. Strengths

- Stable care with five base groups with fixed group rooms and permanent staff
- All employees hold a valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) and are correctly registered in the persons register
- Sufficient indoor and outdoor play space (4.6 m² indoor, ample outdoor space via primary school)
- Each child is assigned a mentor
- Parent committee is now correctly established with 3 members (together with toddler care)

GGD Limburg-Noord conducted an unannounced annual inspection at BSO Bubbels in Weert on 17 June 2026. The after-school care (BSO), part of national organization Humankind with 98 childcare places, is located in a building with a primary school and toddler care Rakkers. All assessed inspection items comply with the Childcare Act: pedagogical policy, staff and groups, accommodation and parent committee. In 2025 there was still a shortcoming because the BSO did not have a parent committee; this has since been resolved. No violations or areas for improvement have been identified.
