BSO Stadskanaal De Speeldoos, part of Kids First Kinderopvang, provides after-school care (BSO) for two groups of children aged 4-12. During the annual inspection of 29 May 2026, the location meets most quality requirements. The pedagogical practice, personnel matters, safety policy, and parent committee are all in good order. However, a repeated violation was identified in the area of pedagogical policy: the pedagogical work plan does not contain a concrete description of the staff-child ratio and the distribution of staff across base groups. This shortcoming was also present during the previous annual inspection in 2025. A recovery offer was made at that time, but the shortcomings were not sufficiently resolved afterward.
