Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected BSO Spijkerhoek in Spijk on 19 May 2026. The after-school care (BSO) for a maximum of 25 children (ages 4–12) does not meet the quality requirements on all points. Four violations were identified, of which two were resolved through a recovery offer (emotional safety in pedagogical practice and parent committee/parent consultation). Two violations without a recovery offer concern the calculation of pedagogical policy worker hours and the complaints annual report; enforcement is recommended for these. Strong points are the accommodation, safety policy, staff qualifications, and staff-child ratio. The pedagogical practice showed improvement after additional support for a staff member. The municipality is advised to take enforcement action for the two unresolved violations.
