About this care
Welcome to BSO Haagje, our welcoming after-school care located in the Graaf Reinaldschool at Top Naeffstraat 28 in Gorinchem East. We provide professional childcare for children aged 4 to 12 years (group 8, phase 16). Our location is easily accessible by car and bicycle and has capacity for up to 50 children. Since July 13, 2020, we have been officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 277913524.
At BSO Haagje, we operate in a familiar school environment. Children can safely play, relax and discover new things after school hours. We have a creative workshop where imagination can run free and a large space for various activities. Our pedagogical staff provide a warm, homely atmosphere where every child feels welcome.
We are open all year after school, except for public holidays. Additionally, we also offer before-school care from 7:30 AM. This allows parents to use our care flexibly and children to experience a calm start to the day. We believe it's important that children feel at home with us and enjoy themselves in a familiar environment.

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 4 June 2026 at BSO Haagje in Gorinchem, part of Stichting Kindercentra Gorinchem. The location provides after-school care (BSO) to 50 children divided across three base groups. The inspection concludes that the provider meets all assessed conditions. The pedagogical quality is satisfactory: staff work according to the pedagogical policy, respond warmly and supportively to children, and guide their mutual interactions. The staff are qualified, correctly registered in the Childcare Personnel Register, and the staff-to-child ratio is adhered to. Children are cared for in fixed groups with their own mentor. All staff receive annual coaching from a pedagogical coach. No areas for improvement or violations were identified during this inspection. At the previous annual inspection on 16 October 2025, a recovery offer was issued for the description of risks regarding missing persons and drowning in the safety and health policy; this has since been resolved.
