Summary

BSO Second Home Picasso in Almere received an unannounced annual inspection visit on 24 November 2025. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) concludes that the location meets all legal requirements. During the site visit, an incidentally chaotic mealtime was observed: children of different ages had to eat fruit in one room, there was little calm, and communication was mainly directive. Staff from other groups also walked through the room, and noise from the adjacent toddler group was audible. The inspector regards this as an incident and trusts that the usual practice (eating within the child's own base group) will be resumed. The location has discussed the incident internally and made agreements about maintaining calm, limiting foot traffic, and using sensitive communication during busy moments. No violations were identified and the advice to the municipality is to take no enforcement action.
