About this care
Welcome to Happy Panda Out-of-School Care Almere B.V. at Parkwijklaan 44, Almere.
Our after-school facility is set in a cosy, small-scale location that fully complies with the Dutch Childcare Act and the Childcare Collective Labour Agreement. We provide care for up to 10 children aged 4 to 13 years. The group is organised as a vertical group, allowing children of different ages to play, learn and discover together.
Around the premises we have plenty of safe outdoor play space. During the sessions we organise fun activities both indoors and outdoors, tailored to the world of primary-school children. Our pedagogical staff work according to high standards in pedagogy, safety and hygiene, so every child feels at home and enjoys coming to the after-school care.

Summary
The annual inspection by GGD Flevoland of BSO Happy Panda in Almere took place on 20 August 2026. The after-school care (BSO) for up to 10 children aged 4-12 is compliant after a recovery offer on all assessed requirements. There is a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, where children may choose their own activities. The staff are sufficiently qualified and the pedagogical policy is well in order. Two shortcomings were identified: the coaching hours were not distributed across the three locations of the provider, and the safety and health policy contained insufficiently concrete descriptions of risks of suffocation, drowning and sunburn, as well as procedures regarding the CO2 meter. Both shortcomings have been sufficiently remedied after a two-week recovery offer. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.

Happy Panda voelt heel warm, veilig en vertrouwd. Alle medewerkers zijn erg betrokken en alles gaat in goed en prettig overleg. Zeker een aanrader.
