BSO Sarphati is an after-school care (BSO) location in Amsterdam for up to 30 children (ages 4–12), opened on 2 September 2025. The location is part of Stichting Kinderopvang aan de Amstel and is housed in De 3e Daltonschool. The annual inspection of 20 November 2025 shows that the care functions predominantly well. The pedagogical practice is positive: children are cared for in an emotionally safe environment, there are fun activities, and the 'Gouden 10' rules contribute to awareness of norms. The staff members are well-trained and meet all requirements. There are several points for attention: the pedagogical work plan needs to be updated (Wednesday is now also a care day), staff allocation during subgroup splits should be described more concretely, and coaching for the permanent staff member has been delayed due to the coach's personal circumstances. Pickup agreements also need to be better integrated into the safety and health policy. No violations were identified and no recovery offer was made.
