Welcome to De Kleine Wereld Van Ostadestraat, our after-school care (BSO) located right in the heart of vibrant De Pijp. We are based inside De Derde Dalton primary school, which gives us access to a spacious playground, a gym and our own dedicated studio. Up to 60 children aged 4 to 12 find a safe, inspiring place here to relax after school and to keep growing.
Every afternoon and during holiday days our professional staff organise creative and sports activities tailored to the group. Children can spend hours crafting, painting or building in the studio, while the gym and playground offer plenty of room for movement, games and sports. We believe fun and development go hand in hand; an ordinary afternoon can easily turn into a little celebration.
Together with parents we create a seamless connection between school, home and care. Our staff have an eye for every child, a passion for their work and take pride in ‘their’ children. After-school care (BSO) De Kleine Wereld Van Ostadestraat provides care for up to 60 children aged 4-12 years in three age groups. The annual Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection on 31 January 2025 shows that the location meets most quality requirements: the pedagogical climate is positive, the team is stable and sufficiently qualified, and the spaces are safely and challengingly furnished. There was one violation: staff had insufficient knowledge of the duty to report, consult and file a complaint (MOA) when there is suspicion of transgressive behaviour. Following a recovery offer, the organisation sent out a factsheet, discusses the MOA in team meetings and has made information available in the groups. The violation has thus been resolved; the GGD advises the municipality not to impose any measures.
