Summary
On 2 June 2026, GGD Hollands Noorden conducted an unannounced annual inspection at BSO Berend Botje Hoorn, location Het Kompas in Hoorn. The after-school care (BSO) accommodates 30 children aged 4 to 13 years. All assessed conditions regarding pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and accommodation have been met. The location has a pedagogical policy that is actively implemented, deploys sufficient qualified staff, and has adequate indoor and outdoor play space. The location will relocate during the summer holiday of 2026 to different group rooms at the same address; these new rooms will be assessed at the next inspection. In October 2025, a violation was identified regarding the parent committee, but this has since been resolved. The holder is satisfied with the outcome and regards inspections as support for their quality policy.
