About this care
BSO St. Sebastianus is our newest after-school care facility in Hellendoorn, located on the first floor of St. Sebastianus primary school at Bibenstraat 19. The space is used by the school during daytime as a learning plaza and provides us with a bright, spacious environment in the afternoons where children have plenty of room to play, quietly read a book, do crafts, or enjoy a game together.
Outside, a large playground is available, equipped with various play structures, a sandbox, and football goals. Children can run, climb, and play to their heart's content. The after-school care is open on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM. During school holidays, all children are welcomed at the Klepperhonk, ensuring continuous care throughout the year. The location is easily accessible and offers ample parking for parents.Read more

BSO St. Sebastianus in Hellendoorn was inspected unannounced by GGD Twente on 19 February 2026. The after-school care (BSO), located in primary school St. Sebastianus, accommodates up to 22 children aged 4 to 12. The inspection assessed the pedagogical policy, pedagogical practice, staff, and groups. On all aspects, the license holder, KOSMO West-Twente B.V., meets the statutory conditions. The pedagogical practice showed a positive picture: children felt emotionally safe, staff aligned with developmental levels, and children were challenged in their development. Staffing was in order with 2 staff members present for 20 children. No points for improvement or violations were identified. The license holder has not received a recovery offer. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement.
