About this care
BSO Het Ravijn is located in the same building as swimming pool Het Ravijn at Piet Heinweg 16 in Nijverdal. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 years. Currently we have one base group with a maximum capacity of 20 children.
Our location offers excellent facilities for children to play and be active. We have a large gymnasium where children can engage in sports and play activities. Additionally, there are changing rooms and toilets available. Outside, we have a spacious play area with playground equipment and a Panna football field where children can enjoy themselves.
We pick up children from their primary school after school hours and bring them to our BSO location. Here they can expend their energy in the gym or play outside. The combination of sports activities and quiet moments provides a varied program where every child can develop at their own pace.

Summary
BSO Het Ravijn in Nijverdal, part of KOSMO West Twente BV, was inspected on 18 November 2025. The after-school care (BSO) accommodates 40 children (ages 4-12) in the 'Het Ravijn' swimming and sports complex. The annual inspection shows that the provider meets all assessed conditions. The pedagogical practice is rated positively: there is a warm, responsive approach to children, a varied activity programme including use of the gymnasium, and clear structure and rules. The staff-to-child ratio is in order and all staff members hold the required qualifications and Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). The safety and health policy is up to date and includes specific attention to risks around the nearby swimming pools. The premises meet the requirements for indoor and outdoor space. The municipality has indicated that there are no building-related objections to the current use of the spaces.
