Summary

The annual investigation by GGD Fryslân into after-school care (BSO) de Grietenij (location It Hiem) in Tjalleberd, conducted on 19 May 2026, shows that the small-scale after-school care (BSO) meets all assessed quality requirements. The BSO provides care for a maximum of 20 children aged 4 to 13 years in a dedicated group room with use of adjacent outdoor play area, sports field and school playground. The pedagogical practice is assessed positively: staff interact with children in a sensitive and responsive manner, they are playfully challenged in their development and guided in social interactions. The safety and health policy, accommodation and personnel matters (Certificates of Conduct and personnel register) also comply. In previous years (2024 and 2025), recovery offers were required for the safety and health policy and parental rights, but these have been resolved. No new violations or areas for improvement were identified in this investigation.
