About this care
BSO de Grietenij – location It Honk – is situated at Aengwirderweg 282 in Tjalleberd. We provide after-school care for up to 24 children aged 4 to 12. Since 31 August 2021 we are registered in the National Childcare Register under number 154307622.
Our location offers a homely environment where children feel safe, accepted, valued and secure. We call our after-school facility ‘It Honk’, which literally means ‘home’, and that is exactly the atmosphere we aim to create. The spaces are designed to encourage active learning and self-discovery. We provide structure and calm, while still leaving plenty of room for children’s own initiatives and play.
We collect children from the primary schools in the immediate area. After school they can spend a pleasant afternoon with activities that match their interests and developmental stage. A consistent team of pedagogical staff give each child personal attention. Summary
BSO de Grietenij 'It Honk' in Tjalleberd is a small-scale after-school care (BSO) for 24 children aged 7-13. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection of 10 February 2026 showed that the location meets statutory requirements in virtually all areas. One violation was identified regarding pedagogical policy: practice did not align with the policy description, as children played outside independently and went to the other location without this being formalized in policy. The provider remedied this by adjusting the policy. The pedagogical practice, staff qualifications, safety procedures and parent committee were all in order.
