About this care
BSO Maurik is a RivaKids location providing after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 in Maurik and the surrounding area. We are located at Homoetsestraat 38c, right next to primary school De Hoeksteen, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Our BSO is open Monday through Friday after school until 19:00. During holidays, we are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 19:00.
We provide care for up to 44 children and have been registered in the National Childcare Register since November 2, 2004, under number 212106673. For children from De Bloesem primary school in Eck en Wiel, we provide care on Wednesdays and Fridays; on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, care is provided by our colleagues at BSO Ingen. Children are picked up from school by taxi and brought to our location.
Our team of pedagogical staff is ready to give the children a safe and challenging afternoon. We work with a fixed team of staff who know the children well and understand what they need after a day at school. Strengths

Summary
GGD Gelderland-Zuid conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 19 May 2026 at Rivakids BSO Maurik, an after-school care (BSO) for up to 44 children (ages 4–13) in Maurik. Following a recovery offer, the location now meets all inspected quality requirements. Two violations were identified: children from another after-school care location were accommodated without a written agreement, meaning they were not placed in their own base group. Both shortcomings were remedied within the recovery period (by 13 July 2026): the accommodation of external children has been terminated and policy agreements have been put in place. All other inspected aspects (pedagogical climate, staff, accommodation, parent information) were found to be fully compliant. The accommodation in the community school building is spacious and safe, with adequate indoor and outdoor space. The advice to the municipality of Buren is: no enforcement action.
