Fris! Kinderdagverblijven BSO 't Zandkasteel

BSO ’t Zandkasteel is part of Fris! Kinderopvang and is located at De Spijlen 3 in Elst, in the community centre Het Bestengoed. We provide after-school care for up to 42 children aged 4 to 12. Thanks to our location within the Integral Child Centre, children can stay in one familiar place up to the age of 13. Our pedagogical approach is rooted in Dalton principles: confident, playful, personal, caring, connected and structured. We give children space to learn independently and make their own choices. After school, our pedagogical staff pick the children up. We start with a healthy snack and lemonade, with children helping to serve and tidy up. Every afternoon we offer a varied programme: from sports and games to creative crafts. Outdoor play is an important part of our day. We have our own enclosed outdoor area with play equipment and plenty of materials. Children choose whether to join an activity or play freely. We encourage self-reliance: together we tidy everything neatly at the end of the day. We work closely with local schools and follow a homely, structured rhythm that offers calm and predictability. Our location is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30, all year round (except official public holidays and one staff training day per year).
