About this care
BSO De Poema’s is located in Kindcentrum De Linde at Verlengde Berkenlaan 2 in Nieuwe Pekela. We provide after-school care for up to 33 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our BSO is open every afternoon from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, following the school hours of De Linde primary school. We also offer morning care from 7:00 AM.
Our spacious group area features a cozy mezzanine where older children can play with technical LEGO, board games, or simply relax. For younger children, we have various play corners set up with a construction area, reading corner, home corner, and sand table. Additionally, we have access to a playroom for ball and tag games, and a technical room for crafts and painting.
Outside, we have several well-enclosed playgrounds with plenty of greenery, play equipment, and a sandbox. The petting zoo, sports hall, football fields, and a park are all within walking distance of our child center, allowing us to regularly use these facilities.
We align as much as possible with the children's world, interests, and talents. Each afternoon starts together with fruit and a drink, followed by sharing about the school day. - All staff members, trainees and regular visitors hold valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) and are registered in the persons register
- There is always at least one adult present with a valid first aid certificate for children

- The pedagogical policy plan contains insufficient concrete description of the manner in which children can settle into a new base group (Article 1.50(2) Childcare Act) — this was also identified in 2025 and subsequently remedied via a recovery offer, but was again not included in the work plan in February 2026
- The holder does not adequately inform parents about the current policy to be followed via the website; the published pedagogical policy is from 2022 while the current version is from April 2025 (Article 1.54(1) Childcare Act)
- The inspection report of 7 January 2025 was not placed on the website as soon as possible; an old report from 2024 is still displayed (Article 1.54(2) and (3) and 1.60c(1) Childcare Act)
