Summary

GGD Hollands Noorden conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 10 August 2026 at after-school care (BSO) De Zeerob in Den Helder, part of Monter kinderopvang. The location provides care for a maximum of 30 children aged 4 to 13 years at primary school De Vlieberg. Initially, not all requirements were met due to a violation regarding 'space requirements'. Group room 2 was found to be not safely and accessibly arranged due to stored boxes and a rolled-up rug. Following a recovery offer, the number of childcare places was reduced from 30 to 14, after which only group room 1 (50 m²) is used. The pedagogical work plan has been adjusted. After recovery, the location meets all assessed requirements. Other areas (pedagogical policy, staff and groups, VOG/PRK, staff-to-child ratio, care stability) were immediately in order.
