Summary
BSO Funvaria in Westeremden, located in the Abt Emoschool, provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12. The annual unannounced inspection on 10 March 2026 shows a predominantly positive picture. The pedagogical practice is strong: children feel emotionally safe, staff are sensitive and responsive, and there is attention for personal and social development. However, four shortcomings were identified for which a recovery offer was made: the trainee was not registered in the Childcare Personnel Register in time, the safety and health policy was not up to date, knowledge and use of the reporting code for domestic violence and the mandatory reporting, consultation, and notification obligations were insufficiently promoted, and the alternative parent consultation was insufficient. The provider has made use of the recovery offer for all items and the shortcomings have been resolved. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement.
