About this care
BSO Zandeweer is a cozy and creative after-school care facility located within Openbare Dalton Basisschool Nijenstein at Onnemaweg 1 in Zandeweer. As part of Stichting Goud, we provide care for children aged 4 to 13 years in a familiar and home-like environment.
Our BSO has its own dedicated room within the school building where children can come immediately after the school bell rings. We accommodate a maximum of 8 children, allowing us to work in a small-scale setting with personal attention for each child.
Since February 1, 2020, we have been officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 708043227. As part of Stichting Goud, we work closely with the primary school to provide a continuous learning path and ensure a smooth transition from school to after-school care.

Summary
The annual inspection by GGD Groningen on 5 March 2026 shows that BSO Zandeweer provides predominantly good childcare. The location, situated in the building of primary school Nijenstein, provides care for a maximum of 8 children aged 4 to 12 years. The pedagogical practice meets all requirements: staff know the children personally, communicate respectfully, set clear boundaries and adequately guide social interactions. Personnel matters, safety and health are also in order. There was one violation regarding parental rights: the mandatory alternative parent consultation had not been carried out because parents had not been involved in advisory matters. Following a recovery offer, the operator has drawn up a plan with a parent survey in September 2026 and a parent meeting in October/November 2026. The violation has thereby been resolved.
