Summary

BSO De Mokerslag in Groningen was inspected unannounced on 25 September 2025. The annual investigation assessed the areas of pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and parental rights. All evaluated quality requirements are met: the pedagogical policy is documented, the group atmosphere is calm and staff respond sensitively to children. All staff members hold valid Certificates of Conduct (VOG), appropriate qualifications and meet the IKK language requirement. The staff-child ratio is in order, there is a fixed base group of maximum 30 children (ages 4-12) and each child has a mentor. The complaints procedure is documented in writing and the location is affiliated with the Geschillencommissie Kinderopvang (Childcare Disputes Committee). No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality not to take enforcement measures.
