BSO Boomhut

Located on Torenhofstraat in the Dauwendaele residential area of Middelburg, you will find our Boomhut location. This toddler group and after-school care (BSO) are part of Kindcentrum Wilgenhof, together with primary school Wilgenhof. Boomhut is a pleasant and familiar place where children aged 4 to 12 can go after school. At our BSO, there is plenty of room for the best ideas and activities. Our children's council regularly comes up with new challenges. We have already organized a cupcake baking competition, participated in the National Cleanup Day with litter pickers, and held a collection campaign for the animal shelter. After a busy school day, children love to relax. They do this by settling down with a comic book in the reading corner or kicking a ball around on the football field around the corner. Each child chooses their own activity. Outdoor play forms an important part of our offering. We have our own outdoor playground with climbing frames, swings and plenty of space to run and play. In bad weather, children can use our spacious indoor location which has creative corners, a reading corner and a sports and games area. Boomhut works closely with primary school Wilgenhof, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. We maintain a homely atmosphere in which every child feels welcome. Our pedagogical staff are ready to guide the children in their development and give them a pleasant afternoon.
