Welcome to Boerderij de Zonnestraal, where we care for your child with love and attention. Our childcare facility is located in a unique setting — a real working farm — where children from 10 weeks to approximately 12 years old have the opportunity to grow and learn in a safe and stimulating environment. At our daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV), we work with a baby group, a toddler group, and a preschool/toddler care group. Child-led learning is central to our approach. This means we respond to the needs and interests of each individual child. In this small-scale setting, children can develop to their full potential. Our childcare professionals are well-trained and create a warm, safe atmosphere. There are plenty of activities to enjoy! Children can play outdoors, care for animals, and take part in creative activities such as arts and crafts and making music. We believe that learning through play is the best way to discover the world.
