Daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Watt in Gouda, part of Stichting Kindercentrum De Schaapskooi, was inspected on 23 October 2025 by Municipal Health Service (GGD) Hollands Midden. The location offers 36 childcare places for children aged 0-4 years in three core groups. The annual inspection showed a predominantly positive picture. The pedagogical practice and the safety and health policy meet all requirements. It was found that staff interact sensitively and responsively with children, with care moments being used for warm interaction. Children learn engagement and responsibility through tidying up together. There was one violation: an employee was deployed formatively as a trainee without holding a valid qualification for this purpose. Following a recovery offer, the holder submitted proof of enrolment in a suitable training programme, whereby the violation was recovered. The GGD advises no enforcement action.
