Welcome to Christelijk Kinderdagverblijf Benjamin, a warm and small-scale daycare centre right in the heart of Gouda. We provide care for up to 24 children, divided into two vertical groups for ages 0 to 4. Our facility is located on the edge of Gouda’s historic centre, within walking distance of the Central Station and close to the main roads. At Benjamin, every child is at the centre of our attention. We believe each child is unique and deserves to develop to the fullest in a safe and familiar environment. Our skilled and loving pedagogical staff offer tailored care based on the individual needs of your child. For the very youngest (0-1 year) we work with baby specialists who give extra attention to babies’ specific needs. We use challenging themes and age-appropriate activities that connect with young children’s world of experience: crafting, circle-time games, making music and playing with peers. We regularly organise outings such as visiting elderly people, taking a ride in a push-car to the Gouda cheese market, baking cookies or borrowing books from the library. These activities are not only fun but also support your child’s social and cognitive development. Our daycare is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:00. We offer flexible childcare and allow swapping of days. Diapers and formula are included, so you do not need to bring them yourself. Each group has a fixed key worker so your child always sees the same familiar faces. Christian values are the basis of everything we do. We emphasise faith, respect and caring, and we try to pass these on to the children. At the same time our door is open to all families, regardless of background or beliefs. We use the Kijk! observation system and provide a 3+ preschool education programme to support your child’s development optimally. We look forward to welcoming you at Benjamin!
