GGD Gelderland-Zouth carried out a registration inspection on 6 July 2026 at childminder care (gastouderopvang) 't Vogelhuisje of Mrs Vogelaar van Hal in IJzendoorn. This concerns a relocation of an existing childminder care facility. The childminder has been registered in the LRK since 2020 and will start at the new address in late July 2026 with day care, after-school and preschool care for a maximum of 6 children. The inspection included document review, site visit and interviews with the childminder and childminder agency. Although the location largely complies, two safety risks were identified that were not included in the risk assessment: low-placed windows in bedrooms without child safety measures and a dog in the back garden. The childminder has committed to taking measures (installing window screens, keeping the dog separated during childcare hours). Various action items from the risk assessment must also be carried out before starting, including stair gates, kitchen safety measures and socket covers. The childminder agency will verify this before childcare commences.
