Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) Rotterdam-Rijnmond inspected childminder agency (gastouderbureau) ViaViela Rotterdam in connection with a change of holder. The new holder, C.D. Louwen, is taking over the agency from R. Thijm and relocating it from Delft to Berkel & Rodenrijs. The agency arranges care for 92 childminders (gastouders) for children aged 0–12 years. The inspection assessed whether the new holder meets the statutory quality requirements. All assessed areas were found to be in order, including registration, pedagogical policy, personnel, safety and health, parental rights, and quality criteria. The new holder has no prior experience in childcare but is following an induction programme and a sector-recognised training course. The staffing plan will be verified at the first annual inspection following the takeover.
