Childminder agency (gastouderbureau) 4Kids works exclusively with childminders (gastouders) who are registered in the National Childcare Register and have been approved by the Municipal Health Service (GGD). Our intermediaries regularly visit the childcare locations to check whether all safety requirements are met. We carry out annual risk assessments and evaluate the childcare with parents and childminders. The agency has a pedagogical policy that all childminders work according to and offers pedagogical support through its own pedagogical staff. We receive annual inspection visits from the GGD.

Summary
This inspection report concerns a registration investigation for childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang) by Erna van den Berg Kroon at van Nahuijsstraat 12 in Wijhe. The care takes place at the host parents' home, via childminder agency 4Kids. The inspection was carried out on 14 July 2026 by Municipal Health Service (GGD) IJsselland. All assessed domains comply with the Childcare Act: general conditions, pedagogical climate, requirements for the childminder, accommodation and safety. There were two safety issues: a baby turning onto his stomach in the crib and a poisonous oleander in the garden. Both were discussed with the childminder and will be followed up. No violations were identified and no recovery offer was issued. The GGD advises the municipality of Olst-Wijhe to include the location in the National Childcare Register.
