Gideon's Kids offers you the opportunity to have your child cared for in a safe, homely environment by a childminder (gastouder) who is the right fit for your family. We mediate between parents and well-trained childminders who work from a conscious pedagogical vision. You choose your own childminder and have direct contact with them, while we take care of quality assurance, regular visits to the care locations, and support with any questions. Our childminders offer flexibility in care days and hours, tailored to your home situation and parenting wishes.

Childminder agency (gastouderbureau) Gideon's Kids is active in the Amsterdam, Almere and Lelystad region. We mediate between parents and childminders in these areas, striving for matches that fit well both geographically and in terms of parenting vision.

Gideon's Kids meets all legal requirements for childminder agencies (gastouderbureaus) and is inspected annually by the GGD (Municipal Health Service). Our inspection reports are publicly available on our website. We work with the Domestic Violence and Child Abuse Reporting Code (Meldcode Huiselijk geweld en Kindermishandeling) and have a complaints procedure in accordance with legal guidelines. Our childminders must meet competency requirements including a minimum age of 18 and an MBO-2 diploma in care and welfare or equivalent.
