The annual unannounced inspection on 4 March 2026 at childminder Kuiper in Bovenkarspel, registered with childminder agency ViaViela Sandy Laan, initially revealed one violation in the area of safety and health. The childminder failed to comply with her own risk assessment: used tissues were being reused, hands were not always washed after wiping children's noses, and dirty nappies were left on the kitchen floor. Following a recovery offer, the childminder drew up a plan of action within the set timeframe, purchased a closed waste bin and sent photos as evidence. As a result, all conditions are now met. Other aspects such as registration, pedagogical climate, accommodation and group composition were found to be in order immediately.
