Summary
The annual inspection on 3 November 2025 at childminder Berg in Heerhugowaard initially revealed a shortcoming in the risk assessment for safety and health. The 16-month-old child was sleeping unsafely in a stroller outside or on a lap, while the crib was located on an inaccessible attic. Stair gates were also missing and a smoke detector had been incorrectly installed. Following a recovery offer with a two-week deadline, all measures have been taken: the crib is now in the children's room, the childminder acts in accordance with the safe sleeping protocol, stair gates have been installed and the smoke detector has been repositioned. The childminder ultimately meets all assessed conditions. Other aspects such as the pedagogical climate, accommodation and group composition were satisfactory from the outset.
