Summary

The UMC Kinderdagverblijf in Utrecht was inspected by the Municipal Health Service (GGD) on 15 June 2026. The unannounced annual investigation focused on pedagogical climate and staff and groups. The location, housed in a former farmhouse, accommodates 53 children of UMC employees in five groups. The inspector concluded that all assessed quality requirements under the Childcare Act are met. No shortcomings or violations were identified. Staff demonstrate sensitive and responsive pedagogical behaviour, children are playfully challenged in their development, and all administrative requirements regarding qualifications, Certificate of Conduct (VOG) checks, and coaching are in order. The operator acknowledged the findings in their response and is satisfied with the result.
